USD.AI is a decentralised protocol issuing a synthetic dollar backed by traditional and real-world assets. It offers two tokens: USDai, a stablecoin backed by T-Bills, and sUSDai, a yield-bearing version backed by T-Bills and tokenised infrastructure loans via MetaStreet's Liquid Credit Tokens. To manage liquidity, it uses Queue Extractable Value (QEV), an auction system that prioritises and prices withdrawals. The protocol aims to become a fully decentralised, token-governed credit aggregator supported by diverse collateral types.
